Some of us live nicely without utilities and I’ve even heard of a teenager somewhere who doesn’t have a cell phone. But for Alphonse “Windy” Wilson, it’s quite impossible to live without an audience.

The Sherman Public Library will be offering a number of activities to help keep kids busy this summer. The library will kick off the Summer Reading Club on Thursday, May 31, at 5 p.m. with age groups for kids 11 years and younger or 12 years to 18 years.

During the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday in Trinity United Methodist Church’s main sanctuary, Christian performance artist Marc Eckel will paint an 8-foot canvas in about 10 minutes.
